Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How much will the course cost?

A. The group class costs $150.00.

Q. How much will a private class cost?

A. It depends on how many people will be attending! Private classes can range from an individual to a group of 6. Price also depends on if you would like the course to be in your home or at a public venue. Reach out and we can discuss exact pricing.

Q. What do I have to bring to class?

A. You will need a natural vegetable oil, 1-2 blankets for baby, a yoga mat, and something comfortable for you to sit on if you wish.

Q. What if my baby gets fussy in the class or doesn't like massage?

A. This is totally ok! We respect all babies and their needs. Feel free to do whatever you need to to care for your baby in class. If you baby wants to sleep, we let them sleep! We will have extra dolls to practice on if your baby is not in the mood for a massage.

Q. What's the difference between an infant massage class and bringing my baby to a massage therapist?

A. In our infant massage classes we value the importance of nurturing touch. So, parents/caregivers are taught how to massage their babies to encourage bonding and relaxation. Our classes are not intended to be treatment. Your instructor will not touch your baby! We will demonstrate on a doll and you will massage your baby under our guidance.

Q. My partner would like to come with me, is that ok?

A. Of course! All parents are welcome in class.

Q. My baby has special needs. Can I join this class?

A. Babies of all needs are welcome! If you have concerns, please consult your medical team prior to massaging your baby.

Q. Where do classes take place?

A. In Chilliwack, BC.
